Tara O’Toole is a teller of tales and writer of stories involving romance, edge-of-your-seat suspense and generous doses of the fantastical. Suspend your disbelief, all ye who enter — but no need to abandon all hope because her books are actually rather entertaining.
Tara’s debut fantasy novel, The Rite of Radnick, won the Fictionary Book of the Year Award in the adult category. While her other titles include a deliciously quirky book called The Lost Apprentice — which can basically be summed-up as dark academia does a graduate recruitment scheme.
Tara grew up in the Irish countryside. And when she wasn’t occasionally helping on her family farm, she could be found with her head stuck in a book or wondering when her letter from Hogwarts would finally arrive.
